About

Jet ter Halle (born 1988) studied photojournalism at the Spéos International Photography School in Paris. As a Dutch documentary photographer, she focuses on exploring social issues and telling human stories. Through her work, Jet aims to spark dialogue, encourage people to think and invite them to look at the world from new perspectives.

She emphasises connection, resilience and the human side of complex situations. In her documentaries, such as Freedom Seekers and The fight & resilience after the fall: Afghan women living under the Taliban, she invites her audience to reflect and talk about what connects us as human beings.
